We are committed
Techem supports the real estate industry on its path to a sustainable future. We develop solutions that enhance the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce CO₂e emissions - because managing the impacts of climate change remains one of the sector’s most oressing challenges.
We are taking responsibility for the future by aligning our corporate strategy firmly with climate action and sustainability. Our long-term ambition is to achieve climate neutrality by 2045. To reach this goal, we are pursuing concrete and ambitious measures across our entire value chain.
At Techem, sustainability means responsibility across the ESG dimensions: environment, social, and corporate governance.
CEO Matthias Hartmann holds overall responsibility for sustainability at Techem. In addition, sustainability is firmly embedded across all departments as a cross-functional priority, ensuring that material impacts, risks, opportunities, and strategic objectives are consistently communicated and implemented throughout the organization.
As Head of Sustainability, Communications & Public Affairs, Katharina Bathe-Metzler supports the CEO by driving the sustainability strategy and overseeing its implementation. Together, they steer Techem's sustainability agenda and engage both internal and external stakeholders in the ongoing development process.
Our awards, networks, and partnerships reflect our strong commitment to sustainability.
