Based on data from approximately 47,000 buildings with about 1.1 million apartments in up to 17 European countries, the study enables cross-national comparisons of energy, heating, and water metrics in the multifamily housing stock. This provides a transparent, data-driven view of trends, differences, and shared challenges in Europe’s energy and heating transitions.
